No pitch deck required. No formal presentations. If you have a real business with real ambition, we would love to hear from you.
What We Look For

You've faced setbacks and kept going
Commercial awareness
You understand your market and your numbers
Integrity
You do what you say you'll do
Coachability
You're open to guidance and honest feedback
Domain expertise
You know your industry inside out
The Process
How it works
Initial Conversation
We start with a chat. No pitch deck required. Tell us about you and your business over a coffee - or a phone call.
Getting to Know You
A few follow-up conversations. We want to understand your market, your team, your ambitions, and how we might be able to help.
Due Diligence
Light-touch and respectful. We look at the fundamentals - margins, market, product - but we're really assessing the people.
Investment & Partnership
Terms agreed, capital deployed, and we roll up our sleeves alongside you. Board meetings, introductions, and honest conversations.
What We Bring
Beyond the cheque
Capital
£50k–£250k, typically through SEIS/EIS qualifying structures. Deployed upfront or in stages, depending on what works.
Governance
Board-level support and accountability. We help founders understand their fiduciary duties and build proper structures.
Commercial Strategy
Hands-on help with sales, pricing, partnerships, and market positioning. Not advice from the sidelines - we get stuck in.
Network
Introductions to customers, advisors, suppliers, and potential hires across the UK. We open doors and make calls.

Common Questions
Things founders ask us
No. We prefer to hear your story in your own words. Fill in our short questionnaire - it takes about two minutes - and if there is a fit, we will have a conversation. No slides required.
We're largely sector-agnostic. We look for good people with good businesses. The main thing we avoid is heavily regulated industries like fintech and pharmaceuticals, because the regulatory risk can change overnight and derail everything.
Typically 4 to 8 weeks from first conversation to investment. It depends on complexity, but we don't drag things out. If we're interested, you'll know quickly.
It means we attend board meetings, make introductions, help with commercial strategy, and pick up the phone when you need us. We meet formally once a month and once a quarter, but we're always at the end of a call.
Where applicable, yes. SEIS and EIS can provide significant tax relief for investors and are often used to structure early-stage investments. We'll work through the specifics with you.
We'll still tell you. If we review your submission and it's not the right fit, we'll let you know and we'll tell you why. We don't ghost people. And if things change down the line, our door is always open.
